Ahead of Delta Queens Federations Cup quarter finals fixture against Rivers Angels FC, Head coach, Tosan Blankson has stated that they are on a mission to conquer.
Coach Tosan Blankson who described the Aba Fixture as a Clash of the Titans said his team has been through it all this season and are ready to face their opponent with more determination to come out victorious.
The undefeated coach of the season in the Nigeria Women Football league, NWFL, said though half of his firat team players are currently on National assignment with the Nation’s U-20 side, the team will look forward to working with what is available.
“We are happy to have gone this far for the season but we are still gunning for more”
“Last Season in the Federations cup, we passed through the eyes of the needle to get to the finals ( which eventually was never played) and here we are again in another of such mission”
“Its quite unfortunate we are doing it this time without our full squard, but we still believe in what we have. They did very well in our last game and will continue to get better. “
“We are condemned to succeed. That is the spirit for the Season, so we are on a mission to conquer”
Coach Tosan Blankson tutored side leaves their Asaba base for Aba ahead of the FA cup quarter Finals against Rivers Angels FC to hold in Aba on Thursday May 18th, 2023, begining at 4pm.
