Hails IMC For GTI Group Partnership…

Kwara United Chairman Kumbi Titiloye has assured that they will comply with whatever system that is being adopted by the Football authorities in the country.

This is coming after the club owners reached an agreement with the IMC to carry on with the abridged league format after they had previously kicked against the abridged league.

“Whatever system that is adopted by the federation, we must comply since we are under our state FA, we must comply with whatever they tell us and then we go ahead and prepare but we are ready anyways.” He said to Owosports.com.ng.

The Football Administrator also applauded the Interim Management Committee (IMC ) for striking a partnership with GTI Group who has empowered each of the twenty club’s with the sum of ten million naira (#10,000,000) each as their kickoff grant. He added that it will serve as a huge support to the State Governments.

“Well, this is not the first time however, after a long time something good is about to happen in Nigerian football which we’ll support because making government were it can run and shoulder the league is an apprehension to stay with, so if we can get private sponsorships to come in, then these clubs can become just like our music industry were you see the actors earning serious money. This is what we want with our players in the NPFL so that not all our best players will be running to any leagues around the world just because of money.”

He however added that Kwara United is prepared for the new season stating that their sole ambition is to win the league title.

“We are fully prepared for the season, We want to win the league. Whatever system, our desire and focus is to win the league.” He concluded.
