Carl Football Academy Proprietor, Pastor Emeka Inyama, has revealed that the academy was created solely to help young talented kids nurture their football skills in a proper environment.

Inyama who has vast experience in football administration is also regarded as an highly innovative personality was special guest on one of Nigeria’s biggest Sports Forum, Family United By Football (FUBF) on Friday evening where he told journalists that Carl Academy was built to help talented kids realise their dreams as footballers.

The Abia Warriors Supremo noted that Carl academy is a college that teaches young ones to take the right path in life, where they are encouraged to combine football with academics, which is more like giving back to society as many of the students are on my scholarship.

“It’s purely foundational to create the right background to getting them young from 10 years and putting them through school.

“We want to consistently produce great players in the academy and become one of the biggest in the nearest future.

“In other words it’s going to be a factory where the real ages of the players are known. I thought that as I bow out let me leave a legacy. At Carl Academy, players who come through the ranks are taught to view the sport as an overall development and maturity in life.

“Winning is not the main aim but to develop and modify the game not only professionally but also within themselves. Players are always encouraged in their spare time to give maximum attention to their academics as it is also important to excel academically,” he concluded.
