West Ham United has identified AC Milan defender Fikayo Tomori as a top target.

This move comes after a previous attempt to sign Tomori on loan in 2020, which was unsuccessful as he chose to remain at Chelsea at the time.

Tomori, 26, boasts an impressive record with 17 Premier League appearances and over 100 Serie A outings. His experience makes him a valuable asset for West Ham.

During his successful stint at AC Milan, Tomori made over 140 appearances and won the 2021-22 Serie A title.

West Ham’s interest in Tomori follows a failed attempt to sign former Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante.

The team is eager to strengthen its defence after a disappointing performance last season, which saw them concede 74 goals in the Premier League.
