Miss firing Golden Eaglet striker at the 2019 FIFA U-17 World cup in Brazil Wisdom Ubani has expressed sadness over his poor outing at the Wordcup in Brazil last year, OwoSports Reports.

After impressing at the U-17 African Cup of Nations in Tanzania with much expectation going into the world cup in Brazil Ubani however failed to impress in his first two game at the mundia firing blank before been dropped to the bench by coach Manu Garba

In a chat with OwoSports.com the 17-year-Old said, “I felt really sad but everything’s works according to God’s plan and not man effort.

He futher revealed he picked up an injury in the first game which affected his performace, “I was injured in our first match against Hungary.

The Striker also dismissed report of him going on a trial at Anderlecht.

“Never I didn’t go to anderlecht for trails, I went there for the facility and Other stuff that, he said.

The forward who also expressed his desire to play for Bayern Muchen
And Borussia Dortmund insist he is not in a rush however wishes his team mate goodluck over their new deal abroad and hopes to face up in the Champions League in the future.

“Sure everything has it time and season, that’s their time, mine is on the way too am not in a rush and for my teammates that are making everyday progress, I wish them best of luck and I wish we can meet in the champions league one day.

The Golden Eaglet crashed out of the World Cup at the round of 16 after losing 3-1 to Netherlands, Wisdom Ubani is meanwhile currently with an Accademy team Giant Brillas in Nigeria.
