The search for glory continues at the maiden edition of the Young Achievers Tournament currently ongoing at the Otunba Dipo Dina International Stadium in Ijebu-Ode.
It was a fierce encounter on Saturday as teams slugged it out quarter-final of the competition to reach the last four.
In the first game of the day, Top FC lost 2 nil to Papa Soccer Academy while the Kwara State based SC Primisport Lasora fell gallantly to Breeding PFA by 3 goals 1.
The encounter between
Kadesh and Sky Rovers was the toughest game of the day with the former eventually booking a spot in the semis with a 1 nil win.
In another game, Super Stars FC proved their worth by thrashing TASCE FC 4-0 as they set their eyes on the gold
For the Semi final matches coming up on Sunday, Papa Soccer Academy will be taking on Breeding Professional FA at
10am while Kadesh will square up against Super Striker at
12 am.
The competition which had teams from Kwara, Lagos, Kogi, Delta and Ogun States on its card was organised by the management of Young Achievers limited in a bid to discover talents and nuture them to stardom.
The organizers had also supported the registered teams among which is free jerseys and other things.
