Zambian striker Patson Daka is edging closer to completing a move to English Premiership side Leicester city from Austria Bundesliga side RB Salzburg with the deal expected to be confirmed soon, Owosports.com.ng gathered.
“Patson Daka to Leicester, done deal. Paperworks completed between #LCFC and RB Salzburg in the last hours. Personal terms already agreed. Just a matter of time then it’s gonna be announced soon Daka,” Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano reports.
The 22-year-old, whose current contract with the Austrian champions runs until the summer of 2024, is going to cost Leicester City around £17million.
Daka scored 27 goals and four assist in 28 league starts in the 2020-2021 campaign, his brilliance performance has however attracted interest from top European club’s including Leicester City Chelsea and Liverpool but he’s now destined to land at the King Power Stadium with Leicester City being his preferred choice.
According to reports Midfielder Boubakary Soumaré is expected to also to join the Foxes too – new left back also in the list.
