Nigerian Striker Joins Zambian Club Zanaco FC

Nigerian attacker Austine Chigozie Iheanacho has joined Zambian MTN/FAZ Super Division side Zanaco FC.

The Nigeria joined the Bankers as a free agent from Sudanese club Ahli Khartoum SC, penned a one-year contract with the club.

The striker has played only in Sudan throughout his professional career having spent time with Hilal Fasher, Ayl Arab, Shebab Nasri, and Ahli Merowe FC before making a switch to Zambia.

The club announced his arrival via their official website

“We are pleased to announce the signing of Nigerian striker Austine Chigozie Iheanacho.

“Iheanacho is joining us on a one year deal as a free agent from Ahli Khartoum SC of Sudan.

Zanaco Football Club Chief Executive Officer Mr. Modest Hamalabbi says the Club is pleased with Iheanacho’s addition to the team.

“With the coming of Austine given his experience and past glory in the Sudanese league,We believe that he will add value to the club.”

The Nigerian striker who is already in Zambia will hope to boost the attack of the Lusaka based club following recent departures in that department.
