Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen was in his best form to help Napoli secure a 5-1 victory over Juventus in the Serie A match played on Friday night at the Diego Maradona stadium in Naples.
The 24-year-old scored twice and assisted another goal taking his league tally this season to 12 goals as Napoli continue to advance toward the league title.
This is coming just days after he was given an award by the Globe Soccer Awards for his outstanding performances in 2022
The former Lille striker scored the first goal of the match in the 14 minutes to give the home side the lead and assisted Napoli’s second goal for Kvaratskhelia Khvicha in the 39th minute.
He scored his second goal of the game in the 65th minute before he was substituted in the 79th minute for Giacomo Raspadori.
The Luciano Spalletti side now have 47 points and are ten points clear of second place AC Milan.
