Nigeria Shooting Federation Elections: Adeoye Hopeful Of Getting Second Term

Immediate past president of the Nigeria Shooting Federation (NSF), Brigadier General Lonsdale Adeoye (Rtd) has expressed hope of getting re-elected as president of the federation while highlighting the board’s achievements during his first term in office as well as plans that will see Team Nigeria participate in the 2024 Olympics.

Adeoye while speaking to journalists in Abuja, said that the federation had built up a strong grassroot since 2017 that he took on the mantle of leadership

“Capacity building, infrastructure, equipments for shooting and for having being able to breakthrough the international policy of shooting sport federation for the first time.

“Built up a very strong grassroot since 2017, with a plan up to 2024 Olympics and these plans can be seen by the success of our training and success of our performance in the forthcoming African Youth Games coming up in Ethiopia 2022, then also All African Games coming up in Ghana 2023.”

Elections into the country’s various sports federations comes up on September 30, 2021.
