Cameroon’s Vincent Aboubakar scored in third successive match as Cameroon drew 1-1 against Cape Verde to qualify as Group A winners at the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations tournament.
The striker has now scored five goals and leads the top scorers’ charts, having scored a brace in each of the first two matches.
The tournament was marred with goal drought, with only 12 goals scored in matchday one, but things have since changed as high-scoring matches have become a norm in recent games.
So far, only five players have scored two goals or more.
