Director of Football ABS Ilorin FC ,Chief Alloy Chukwuemeka has revealed that the target of the club ahead of the new NNL season is to return back to Nigeria professional league football (NPFL) where it belongs, www.owosports.com.ng reports.
ABS FC of Ilorin will begin their 2021/2022 Nigeria National League (NNL) campaign when they play host to Yobe Desert Stars on Saturday February 12th at the Kwara State Complex Stadium Ilorin.
The football Administrator speaking with news men at the Kwara State Complex Stadium Ilorin just after the club’s unveiling of 25 players ahead of the new campaign said they are prepared and ready to fight for promotion to the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL).
“The season is expected to kick off tomorrow and we will be playing one of the biggest match in week one against Yobe Dessert Stars in Ilorin, the two teams have in the past played in the NPFL that tells you the quality of the match we have in hand tomorrow but I can assure you that base on our tradition we are ready to play and return to the NPFL where we belong to”, he opined.
Chief Alloy Chukwuemeka also disclosed more details on the pathnership deal signed between ABS FC and Top Sports Management.
“The deal is mouthwatering, we will be getting a full package of a three years kits sponsorship and training equipment alongside the exposure of our players abroad including other cash backing that cannot be disclosed now. Its a deal that will help in running the club professionally”, he stated.
He also called on the esteemed ABS FC fans to continue to support and cheer the club to glory as he believed that their support will go a long way helping the club to achieve its desired goals this season.
