Desiree Ellis says her Bayana Bayana team has what it takes to clip the Super Falcons wings again at the 2022 AWCON in Morocco, OwoSports.com.ng reports.
Recall last year at the Aisha Buhari Cup in Lagos, the South African women team defeated the Super Falcons 4-2 to take home the trophy.
Ahead of the AWCON Opening Group C against their rivals, Super Falcons on 4 July 2022 at the Moulay Hassan FUS, Ellis informed of the team’s plan as she’s impressed with the drive and enthusiasm shown by players.
“We were welcomed warmly when we arrived at the airport. We are coping very well and there has been so much enthusiasm and drive at our training session,’’ said Ellis.
“The closer we get to our opening game the more we get into more detail. We show the players footage and try to break it down.
“We are still working on a lot of things and we have the footage for the players to see who they are up against and work on different areas on the field,’’ concluded Ellis.
