Nigeria’s Calvin Bassey was available for the entire duration of game of as Ajax played a 1-1 away draw at Nijmegen in the Eredivisie game played on Sunday.
The 23 years old has been a regular starter for the Amsterdam-based club since joining from the Scottish side Rangers last summer scoring just a goal so far this season.
Ajax after the draw now on 31 points after 15 matches to stay in the second position behind Feyernood as they bid to retain the title they won last year.
The 8-caps Super Eagle’s defender will seek to win his first honors in the league come the end of the season.
Calvin Bassey and Ajax will travel to Den Bosch next Wednesday to play in the Dutch Cup.
