Chairman of Kastina United Abdulsamad Badamasi has spoken about his failure to becoming the Kastina FA boss for a second term.

Badamasi said he believes in destiny and that becoming the FA Chairman wasn’t his destiny.

“I believe in destiny, if God says I will become the Kastina FA Chairman I will.

“There are guidelines that says one can only contest for the Kastina State FA top job from the age of 35, as of then I was 34 years old which disqualified me from running the State FA for a 2nd term, so I took it as my destiny and called the current State FA boss to congratulate him.

“Me becoming the Katsina United chairman I believe it not a compensation but what God wants for me.

“God wanted me to run the affairs of the state owned football club and not me in the State FA,” he added.

Abdulsamad Badamasi also spoke about the recent allegation of Kastina United denying his players their due allowance.

“About players complaining about unpaid allowances that is not the truth, it a player that is circulating such false news.

“And if I tell you what that player did to Kastina United, if we where to react we would have punished him.

“But what I considered is that am a youth, this players are youths, I don’t what to tarnish someone’s image to be successful.

“The player complaing ask him if there was a time he spent three month away. He went for Sand Beach Soccer, after he came back he went to stay in Abuja without reporting back to Kastina United when the league was on as he was registered, there is no reason why we employed you yet you refused to work for us, so we paid him off and he left,” he concluded.

Abdulsamad Badamasi was appointed Kastina United Chairman by Governor Aminu Masari..
