Ayema d’adjarra Football Club, based in Benin Republic, has announced the appointment of seasoned Nigerian coach Samson Unuanel as its new Technical Adviser.
Coach Unuanel, who has returned to the dugout after a brief hiatus, is tasked with revitalizing the team’s fortunes.
Ayema FC narrowly avoided relegation last season, and the club’s management has pinned its hopes on the experienced coach to turn things around.
Despite receiving offers from other clubs in the Benin Republic Vitalo League, Coach Unuanel opted for Ayema FC due to its rich history and talented squad. “I am delighted to join this iconic club and contribute to its success,” Coach Unuanel stated.
Pedro Ayema, President of Ayema FC, expressed confidence in the new coach’s ability to transform the team’s performance.
“We believe Coach Unuanel’s expertise will lead us to success and restore our club’s former glory,” Ayema said.
Coach Unuanel has signed a two-year contract with an option for an additional year and is set to begin his tenure on July 12, 2024.
