Bright Etaghara has expressed excitement after scoring the only goal in El Kanemi Warriors 1-0 victory over Yobe Desert Stars FC in their final NNL Conference C match on Saturday.
With the results, El Kanemi Warriors finished as leaders of the NNL Conference C standings with 34 points two points more than second placed Nasarawa United who for themselves picked the second NPFL Promotion playoffs after finishing second.
It was his second goal for the club with his first coming in their 1-2 win over EFCC in one of the first stanzas matches played earlier in the season.
“It is always good for one to contribute to try to always help the team. But it was amazing getting on the score sheet with my team picking the playoffs tickets.
“Getting the club back to the Premier League has been our top priority this season and I think we are a step closer to achieving that we won’t relent
We will keep pushing until this is achieved which is a promotion ticket to the NPFL” He said.
Bright Etegah grew through the ranks of SGFC Athletics Sports Club in the NLO where he shone like a million star before captured by Kwara United where he had a one year stint before El Kanemi Warriors at the start of the season.
