Gbenga Ogunbote has left his role as the Head coach of Nigeria Professional Football League ( NPFL) side Remo Stars, owosports.com.ng gathered.
The experienced gaffer signed a one year contract with the Sky Blue Stars and seems to be ready for fresh challenge elsewhere.
Ogunbote’s exit comes as a shock, given that he led Stars to the CAF Confederation Cup with a third-place finish in 2021/22 Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) season.
He has enjoyed a successful managerial career across Nigeria having worked at Sharks Shooting Stars, Giwa FC, Rangers, Enyimba and Sunshine Stars in the past.
It’s left to be seen where his next destination would be.
