Romanian scout, Bodgan Petre says his top priority at the maiden Magic Scouting Tourney is to discover the next Victor Osimhen, Victor Boniface, and other Super Eagles stars, as he heaped praises on the organizers for creating a platform for grassroots players who aspire to play in Europe.
Petre, who scouts talented players for top Romanian and European clubs spoke to journalists on Sunday after the Matchday One fixtures were done.
“I like this sort of tourney which is a platform for grassroots players to get noticed. There are a lot of talents in Nigeria and Africa at large. I want to see the next Victor Osimhen, Victor Boniface, Jay Jay Okocha and Kanu Nwankwo at this tourney.
“It’s the first day of the tourney but I’ve seen enough talent here and we hope to see more of this talent as time goes on. The aim is to pick the best players here and create a pathway for them to Europe”.
Matches will continue at the Legacy Pitch, Surulere on Monday with Ojodu FC facing Rolly FC by 5 pm and SGFC Athletics locking horns with Real Dream FC by 6 pm.
