Ighalo Named West Asia Player Of The Month

Super Eagles returnee Jude Odion Ighalo has won the West Asia player of October.

The former Manchester United striker who is expected to make a return after two years  to the Nigeria National football team recorded consistent impressive performances for his Saudi Arabia club, Al-Shabab in October.

Ighalo, 32 scored four goals in October and a cumulative of 9 goals in 11 appearances this term. His impressive performance areas so far earned him the player of the month courtesy of the White Lions’ fans.

The Riyadh base club confirmed the win on their Instagram page and that caused a huge engagement from the fans of the club from around the world .

Having hung his both two years back, Ighalo was named in Nigeria’s list of invited players ahead of the 2022 World Cup qualifier against Liberia and Cape Verde in the final group games.
