The management of La Planet Sport Academia has announced that the team will flag its colour in the 2022/2023 Nationwide League Division One season.
It would be recalled that the team participated in the Division two of the league last season at the Ado-Ekiti center where it young repleted squad inspite of their first time in the campaign competed impressively against some of older clubs in the division.
In a statement released on Tuesday, the management revealed that the decision to play the NLO One was borne out of its desire towards exposing its players to opportunities.
“We are glad to announce to all our teeming fans and supporters that we will be competing in the NLO Division One in the forthcoming season.
“This development is in tandem with our long term vision and focus to create a veritable platform for our players to showcase their talents, develop and expose them to opportunities
“We would like to thank the NLO Secretariat for their giant strides and also appreciate the Kwara State Football Association for creating an enabling environment for the game of football to thrive.
While looking forward to a fruitful campaign, the management charged the Technical crew and players to be committed to the new cause as the team set to break and cover more grounds in reaching the enviable heights.
The NLO Division One league is expected to commence on the 13th of April and run through to 15th of September,2023.
