Lasora-Agarawu Soccer Academy Happy With Olatunji Victor’s New Deal With Sparta Prague, Tip Him To Break Records In Czech Republic

The management, staff and players of Lasora-Agarawu Soccer Academy an affiliate of Primisport of Italy are excited with the progress and acheivements of one of their players, Olatunji Victor who teamed up with AS Sparta Prague in July this year.

Victor is one of the many notable best products of the academy that focuses on player development with the watchword “developing talents and fulfilling dreams”.

In a statement made available to newsmen by Director of the Academy, Bello-Lasoro Abubakar Ola, the story of Victor signals the prospect of the Academy and has further inspired other young players.

He described Victor’s breakthrough as a manifestation of the grass to grace, noting that “he is our proud ambassador”

“The academy appreciates the achievement of his product Olatunji Victor Oluyemi who rode from the grass to grace with an abundance of talents to become one of Africa best plying in Europe

“He was so efficient that his team mate gave him the nickname “salongo” and his football prowess gave him the chance to break into the the academy main team in 2015.

Victor, who joined Lasora-Agarawu a few days to his 12th year birthday broke a lot of records with the Academy and one of them was emerging as the highest goal scorer with 6 goals in 6 matches during the kwara State Football Association Super League 2016 with a ratio of 1 goal per match.

He also played in numerous competitions under the Academy in the Kwara State league; Ogun State FA Keshington Cup; APFAN Categories competition, Frank Peters Cup (64 west Africa Football Academies competition) Ijebu-Ode, Oguola Cup in Ipara-Remo among others.

As part of its development plans for her players, the Academy painstakingly brought in a UEFA coach in one of her projects to develop the players and the Academy coaches to increase players performance and the coach’s technical understanding.

This act has resulted in numerous of her players doing wonderfully well in various League both abroad and domestically.

“Olatunji Victor Oluyemi’s success has been an inspiration to his junior in the Academy. We discovered him dancing to a music in front of DJ during one of the Academy’s Director Community Social Responsibility programme of free medical exercise some years back.

“With the right training and development, we have been able to bring out the best in him. I believe he has a bright future”

Before moving to Sparta Prague, the striker had stints Bratislava in Slovakia, SV Mattarsburg in Austria, Aek Larnaca in Cyprus where he got his debut in Europa league before he had the chance to play in Czech Republic Liberic FC in January and later got his first professional transfer to Sparta Prague this season.

Among many of the Academy’s products is Yemisi Elizabeth Samuel who just signed with Baylesa Queens.

The former National U17 strike who scored an hattrick against Guinea in World Cup qualifier 2020 called “sexy striker” is one of the female players who rose through.

Also, other aspiring young players among the Zenith/NFF youth championship cup winner of 2018 now ripe to experience professional Football are Adesokan Yusuf who emerged highest goal scorer in the first Kwara Youth League and the duo of Abdullahi Yusuf and Abdullah Ridwan.

“These players have potential to play for any top teams in the Nigeria league” the statement concluded

Victor Olatunji has already started making waves for Sparta Prague by scoring in their 4-1 thrashing of Dinamo Zagreb to qualify for the group stage of the Europa League.
