Money Wasn’t The Reasons I Joined Al-Adalah, Says John Ogu

Super Eagles and Al-Adalah midfielder John Ogu says money wasn’t the factor behind his move to The Oil rich nation citing that eagerness to return into action after months of inactivity from football was the main reason for the move to Saudi Professional League club.

The 32-years old Super Eagles midfielder who was a free agent after his contract with Hapoel Be’er Sheva expired in the summer of 2019 finally made a move to Saudi Arabia top flight side Al-Adalah during the winter.

“It wasn’t really about money, I just wanted to get back on the field after going idle for six months,” he said in an Instagram live session with Brila FM.

“It wasn’t where I was looking at to go play football but when the offer came, I just had to go for it as it was an opportunity for me to relaunch my career and get my mojo back”. He Concluded.

John Ogu was included in the 23 man squad that won Bronze at the AFCON 2019.
