Nationwide League One division one side Emmydinho Football Club played out a 1-1 draw against a Festac Selected All Stars side on Thursday afternoon in one of it’s preseason friendly in preparation ahead of the commencement of the 2020/2021 NLO season, Owosports reports.
Festac Selected All Stars started brightly enjoying and controlling possession during the early stages of the game, despite their dominant it was Emmydinho football club who took the lead mid-way into game following a perfect cross from the skipper of the side which John Ejike headed nicely to put his side ahead.

The national league side grew in confidence as the game progressed but couldn’t increased their tally as Festaca Selected All Stars drew level just before the half time interval following a sublime strike from a free kick just at the edge of the box.
The second half started on a very intense atmosphere as both side came up at each other but no one was able to steal the win as the match ended 1-1.
Speaking after the game the Chairman of Emmydiho football club Mr. Nnajiofor Chukwuma Emeka who spoke about the objective of the club being to groom and develop talent for the future.

“As someone who have played the game and have passion for the game, some of us doing this business have being through a lot of challenges during our playing days, nobody to guide you, put you through on things you need to know in your career and how to go with your move.
“That is what we are trying to instigate into those young talented players, that is giving back. But the main objective is to discover talent who have nobody to guide them to finance their career as they grow, we put them in shape give them the necessary support having the consent of their family we take it up from there and bring them to the standard of player we can market in Europe and across the country.
