Super Eagles and SSC Napoli striker Victor Osimhen has been named the Serie A player of the month for February, Owosports.com.ng reports.
The striker had an impressive performance under the month in review where he netted five goals in four Serie A matches for Napoli.
The striker was on the scores sheet against Spezia, Cremonese, Sassuolo and Empoli, helping his club to win all these matches.
The 24-year-old beats his club teammate, Kvicha Kvaratskhelia, Torino’s Midfielder, Aleksei Miranchuk, Juventus Argentina star Angel Di Maria and Leece defender Federico Baschirotto to the award.
Recall that the former Lille of France striker won the Serie A Player of the Month award in January along with the Goal of the Month prize.
Osimhen has so far scored 21 goals and four assist across all competition for the Partenopeans as the set sight on their first scudetto title in 34 years
