Barristers Pelumi Olajengbesi has joined the race to become one of the Executive Members of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) in the upcoming Elections of the football governing body scheduled for September 30 in Benin, Edo State.
Olajengbesi, who is a Managing Partner at Law Corridor firm in Abuja is vying to pick one of the two slots meant for the South Western part of Nigeria in the Executive board of the NFF.
A Lawyer, Human Rights Activist and Politician, Olajengbesi had in December 2021 announced on his official Facebook handle his acquisition of NFF Intermediary License.
The license, according to him would complement his passion to further explore Sports Law in the area of representation, litigation and consultancy.
“It is thus with great pleasure that I share with you that I have officially been certified as a Registered Intermediary of the Nigeria Football Federation and licensed to practice as same all over the world, representing and acting on behalf of Local and International Footballers and Clubs as an Intermediary/Agent from Nigeria and recognized by FIFA”. He said in the post.
The Ijesha-born Politican has represented clients at different levels, courts and to the apex Sports adjudicatory body known as the CAS, sitting in Switzerland.
