Al-Mubarak FC beat Gambari FC to emerge champions of the Otte-Oja Super Four Tourney on Sunday.
The one-day tourney went down at the LGA Primary School playing ground in Otte-Oja Ilorin, Kwara State with four teams participating which includes, O Nnet FC – Of Oyo, Igbon FC from Orile Igbon, Gambari United from Gambari and Al-Mubarak FC from Otte Oja.
Al-Mubarak cruised to a 3-0 victory over O Nnet FC in the first match thanks Abubakar Al- Hassan’s hat-trick, while Gambari FC edged out Igbon FC 3-1 on penalties after it ended goalless in the second match as they booked a final berth with Al-Mubarak FC.
Al-Mubarak would go on to claim the title after they overpowered Gambari FC 1-0 in the final thanks to Sodiq Muktar lone strike in the final.
Otte Oja Super 4 tourney was put together to celebrate Eid Fitr and to further encourage young footballers within Otte, Gambari, Orile Igbon and Oyo state.
The event was organized by Oladimeji Sheriki(Hislador) in conjunction with Phreestyle Sports Limited.
