Oloyede Arsenal Kiddies finally put a blemish on Kwara Football Academy’s impressive record as they tarnished their 15-game winning run with a 1-0 victory on Saturday.
The much-anticipated match failed to disappoint as both teams came out of the block firing on all cylinders in order to have a grip on the game as they both came close to opening the deadlock in the first half.
The winning goal came in the 38th minute as KFA scrambled to clear their lines; the ball was whipped back into the danger area and Musa Abeeb connected with a half volley to fire the Kiddies ahead.
KFA searched for the equaliser all to no avail as O/Arsenal Kiddies held on for an incredible win that puts them 3 points behind the leaders in an interesting title race.
Next up for the Kiddies is a game against Achievers FA while KFA look to return to winning ways against Young Talent. Both games will be played on Sunday, November 12th.
