With Abraysports FC currently topping the league table at match day 4 with an impressive 10 points and goal difference, Chairman of the club, Yusuf Abdullahi has commended the NLO ONE organizer for hosting a seamless and competitive league season.

Abdullahi attributed the team’s success to valuable lessons learned from previous setbacks, stating, “Our disappointing performance last season, where we finished at the bottom of the league table, served as a catalyst for improvement. We’ve worked tirelessly to address our mistakes and I’m delighted with our current results.”

As the league continues, Abdullahi expressed his team’s readiness for the challenges ahead, acknowledging the fierce competition among teams. “Our ultimate goal is to represent the state in the playoffs, and we’re prepared to intensify our efforts as the league reaches its climax,” he said.

Abraysports FC’s next match against Barrier FC, who are also on 10 points with a similar goal difference, promises to be a thrilling encounter. Abdullahi praised the league’s competitive nature, highlighting the excellent officiating and good conduct from spectators and supporters’ clubs. He also acknowledged the abundance of talented players in Kwara, predicting that some will make it to the top leagues both locally and internationally in the near future.
