MFM Michael Mbonu fractures Arm In Rangers Win

It was mixed feelings for MFM FC players and coaches after Michael Mbonu fractured his left arm in the victory over Rangers at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium (The Cathedral), OwoSports.com reports.

Mbonu who came on as a sub injured his arm after fell awkwardly as he tried to evade a tackle from Rangers Tope Olusesi few minute before the end of the game.

Mbonu’s arm was immediately wrapped with ice packs to limit swelling and help relieve pain.

He was admitted to a hospital were the arm was wrapped in Plaster of Paris (POP). It was not clear his recovery date.

He is expected to fly back to Lagos via a 5pm flight from Enugu with the team doctor.

The Olukoya Boys are 4th on the NPFL log with 7points following their shocking win against Rangers at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium on MatchDay 3.
