Everton Joins race for Ndidi

Everton FC has made an offer to sign Nigerian midfielder Wilfred Ndidi, according to reports. Ndidi’s contract with Leicester City is set to expire in two months, allowing him to explore free transfer options, Owosports.com.ng reports.

The 27-year-old has garnered significant interest from top clubs, including Barcelona, Aston Villa, Newcastle United, Brentford, Crystal Palace, Fulham, and Galatasaray.

Ndidi has been a key player for Leicester City, contributing four goals and five assists in 31 appearances this season. His impressive performance has made him a sought-after defensive midfielder in Europe. Leicester City is already preparing for his potential departure, identifying Lucas Gourna-Douath from RB Salzburg as a possible replacement.

Transfer expert Sacha Tavolieri confirmed Everton’s offer, stating, “Wilfred Ndidi has received a proposal from the Toffees, who are trying to anticipate the competition. Several clubs are working on his case, but the Super Eagle hasn’t chosen his destination yet.
